Photographic Inspiration

I’ve enjoyed photography for as long as I’ve had a camera, though my first digital camera introduced me to the intricacies of more technical photography and so began my interest in taking this forward.

I find inspiration all around me.

From the delicate details of garden flowers, to the sweeping grandeur of the landscape nature is a constant source of imagery.

As an architect in training the built environment is another source of inspiration, from innate patterns in the structures formed, to sweeping vistas or interesting perspectives of the buildings.

Music is an important part of my life, both as a dancer and a player and as such forms another source of inspiration.

Glimpses into the light hearted side of life also make their way into my photography, with juicy images of strawberries waiting for the cream, balloons waiting for the party and my house bunnies form a constant source of entertainment and inspiration – so much so they have their own post.
